Man dies in crash
Cumbria police have confirmed that a man has died in a crash on the A596.
He was driving a white Suzuki swift that crashed head on with an HGV this morning.
It happened on the Wigton bypass at around 8am near the Station Road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The HGV driver was uninjured.
