Count for red squirrels
More than 100 volunteers are taking to woodland across the North of England to count red squirrels. The "Red Army" will cover 270 areas across Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham, and North Yorkshire. Red squirrels are under threat from a lethal virus carried by greys.
