Queen of the South football club in Dumfries have let their manager go before the end of the season. It follows another defeat at the weekend and relegation.
Gus McPherson and his assistant Andy Milne have left the club before their contract ended on the 31st May.
Chairman Davie Rae confirmed that 38 year old midfielder Alan Johnson will take over as caretaker manager for Saturday's match last match of the season against Ross County.
