Solfest organisers have announced that Celtic behemoths The Waterboys are confirmed for the main stage.
Formed in 1983, the latest album from The Waterboys sees Scott and company reinterpret, musically, the poems of Irishman WB Yeats.
Also appearing on Solfest’s mainstage are Saint Jude. Their incendiary musical collision of rock and soul has seen the London-based five-piece gain fans as famous as Ronnie Wood and Jimmy Page.
Young Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt will also appear. The diminutive singer rumoured to be dating Ed Sheeran, has already gained Radio 1 airplay, topped the iTunes singer-songwriter chart, and toured Europe – and all before her eighteenth birthday.
