Thieves have made off with more than £50,000 of equipment following a raid on a Borders bus depot.They struck at Munro's of Jedburgh in the town's Bongate overnight on Sunday when three large mechanic tool boxes and contents were stolen along with a quantity of parts and tyres.
Last month around £3,000 in cash was stolen during another break-in at the firm's Oakvale Garage.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said the latest raid happened between 10.30p.mhours on Sunday and 4.45a.m. on Monday.He added:
"Anyone who in the area of the garage and surrounding area and remembers seeing anything suspicious and anyone with information is asked to contact Police."
