Around 1500 runners are taking part in a new off road race in the Lake District. The Great Trail Challenge is one of the biggest of it's kind in the region.
It starts and finishes in Keswick, via nearby fells, with 3 possible runs on offer - a 10km, half and full marathon.
The people behind the event are the same company that organise the Great North Run in the North East and also the Great North Swim, which is taking place in Windermere next weekend.
