A Borders Blacksmith hopes to challenge Gretna as the wedding capital of the UK.
John Falla from Bonchester Bridge near Hawick is marking the centenary of his business by opening it up as a wedding venue.
It was established in 1911 by John's grandfather, and still has the original anvil.
Gretna Green, which is 45 minutes away, hosts around 5,000 weddings a year.
