A new group of the Scottish National Party has been formed in Kelso, in the Scottish Borders.
It is one of 3 Scottish Borders Council wards without an SNP councillor.
They are working on a series of events to boost the party's profile in the town.
An art exhibition was held by them over the weekend.
We warmly welcome anyone who is interested in the future of Scotland to join us. **Because the Borders is such a large area, it can be difficult to feel much of a sense of connection with events in other areas. *That's why we've decided to form this branch on our own doorstep. Some people will already know one another and others will make new friends. *Please do come along, whatever your views, and let's have a forum everyone wants to feel a part of.**
