A cyclist who was killed in an accident near Peebles in the Scottish Borders has been identified as 53 year old Mark Sanderson who was from Edinburgh. The accident happened on Monday 6th August on the A703 road 300 metres north of Peebles.
Mr Sanderson was travelling north when he lost control of his bicycle and collided with a Fiat Panda that was travelling south.
Lothian and Borders police are appealing for anyone who witnesses the accident to get in touch with them.
