Electric cars for hire in the Lakes
An Electric car hire scheme has been launched in the Lake District. Visitors to the National Park can now hire electric cars when they visit. It's part of a project by GoLakes Travel to reduce visitor CO2 emissions by 11,000 tonnes a year by 2015.
The vehicles are available for hire at the Langdale Hotel at Elterwater.
