The family of Matthew Hamilton, who died when his bike was in collision with a car in Carlisle, have paid tribute to him. The 15 year old was with friends when he rode into the back of a car on Brunel Way on Sunday evening. He died a short time later at the Cumberland Infirmary.
Matthew’s parents said “Matthew was well liked and loved by all his friends. He had a passion for life and was dedicated to his family. He adored his dogs and taking them for walks and he was forever out on his bike to socialise with his friends."
“The whole family are very proud of Matthew. He was a happy go lucky lad who enjoyed life. Matthew will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him, including his brothers and sisters, Andrew, Daniel, Sarah, Mark, Kaitlyn and Isaac."
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
