The Scottish Government has announced that new schools will be built in Kelso and Dumfries with construction beginning within the next year and a half.
The schools are part of the Government's £1.25 billion programme to build 30 new schools across Scotland. The Kelso and Dumfries projects will be one of the first of the latest phase to be built.
