A man's body has been found by a member of the public in woodlands on the outskirts of Carlisle.
The discovery was made just before half past one today in woods near to Eastern Way. An ambulance was called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cumbria police are not treating the death as suspicious but as unexplained and are working to formally identify him.
