A cyclist who was injured in a road accident in the Scottish Borders has died.
64 year old John Barr from west Saltoun was cycling on the B709 Traquair to Innerleithan road on the 27th September when he was involved in a crash with a Honda Civic.
He was taken to hospital with serious head, leg and pelvic injuries.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff he died on 10th October.
Lothian and Borders police are requesting anyone who can help them with enquiries to get in touch.
