Laboratory opens in memory of Dumfries man

A new laboratory is being opened today after hundreds of thousands of pounds were left to the Royal Infirmary in Dumfries following the death of a local man.

The family of David Wyllie will open the specialist vascular service at the hospital this afternoon.

A new service to help patients with vascular problems is being opened today. The laboratory at the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary is being opened by the family of David Wyllie who left a large donation towards the facility when he died.
