More than 10,000 people from around the UK are expected to attend one of the biggest agricultural events of the year.
The Borderway Agri-Expo event, based in Carlisle, is the largest livestock show in northern England and Scotland, and gives farmers the chance to show off their prize animals.
This year's event has attracted record numbers with more than 800 livestock entries, 20 breed societies and 150 trade stands.
Farmers and breeders will be competing for a share of the £12,000 prize fund.
