Dumfries and Galloway police have named the car driver who died in a crash in the village of Kirkinner in Newton Stewart.
21 year old Mark McLelland, a dairy worker from Whauphill, was killed when his silver Vauxhall Corsa crashed on the A746 at around 6 am.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
