Police have confirmed that the body of a man found this morning (5th November) at the rear of the Crescent, Cleator Moor, was that of 29-year-old Gary Murphy from Hawthorns, Cleator Moor.
Mr Murphy waas found by a member of the public near a path regularly used by walkers.
Paramedics attended, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
