A man's body has been found at the rear of the Crescent in Cleator Moor.
A member of the public called the Police at 7:00am on 5th November after the body was found near a path used by walkers in the area.
Ambulance attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Police say they're treating the death as unexplained, but not suspicious at this time, and are working to formally identify the man.
