An outbreak of the winter vomiting bug has closed 3 wards of the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. So far 26 patients and two staff have been diagnosed.
Anyone who thinks they may be suffering from the virus is asked to stay away from the hospital, and contact their GP if needed.
Management will be meeting today to discuss the situation.
