A host of farmyard animals in Carlisle are auditioning for parts in a new Nativity play.
Cows, sheep, goats and donekys, all from Walby Farm Park, will walk down a red carpet to the sound of 'Away in a manger'.
Animals who manage to impress the judges by taking kindly to the music, will star in the Christmas extravaganza show.
"Walby Farm Park is the perfect partner for a production like ours as they have animals that are used to children and hopefully music.
"The audition is to see which animals are happy to walk down the red carpet like a real pro and they will be watched over by Mrs Claus played by West End Actress Danielle Carson and children's favourite Mike 'Cheeky Charlie' Charlton who both appear in the show."
