The Met Office have a Yellow, 'Be Aware', warning in place from midnight for the earlier hours of Sunday morning.
Heavy and persistent rain will push north overnight falling on to already saturated ground. This brings a risk of localised flooding and dangerous driving conditions.
A further 20-30mm of rain is expected to fall during the early hours and will be accompanied by strong winds.
