Thrown snowball causes crash in Dumfries

A youth threw a snowball at a passing car on Lochside Road in Dumfries causedit to collide with another car.

The incident happened at around 3.40pm yesterday (December 3rd).

The snowball hit the windshield of a silver Ford Mondeo which then crashed into a passing silver Honda Civic.

A 56-year-old local man was driving the Mondeo and a 31-year-old local woman was driving the Civic.

Both were checked by ambulance staff at the scene, but suffered no injuries.

Dumfries and Galloway Police are looking to find the youth who was responsible for the incident and are keen to speak to four male youths who were also seen in the area at the time.
