Traders report 'disappointing' sales at annual festive market in Carlisle.
Many traders at Carlisle's Christmas market have reported worse sales than in previous years, despite thousands attending the 5 day event. 2 days of poor weather has been blamed, as has a feeling that people are spending less than in previous years.
The event, which features more than 50 stalls from around the world, ends today. It has become a regular feature in the Carlisle festive calendar and marks the start of a number of events in the build up to Christmas.
