Thieves have stolen around £600 worth of heating oil from a community farm near Hightae, just outside of Lockerbie.
Mossburn Community Farm, which is a registered charity, was raided on Christmas Eve.
The discovery was made when farm manager, Juanita Wilson, realised the Rayburn had stopped working.
An empty fuel tank meant the farm was left without heating or hot water for three days over Christmas.
This is the latest raid on central heating and diesel fuel tanks across Dumfries and Galloway.
