The best of the brightness will be for eastern parts but a mostly cloudy and windy day with more rain moving in during the afternoon.
A Met Office 'Be Aware' warning is in place from 6pm Sunday for the risk of flooding as the rain will be prolonged, turn heavy at times and continue through the region into the first part of Monday.
