One flood warning and six flood alerts are still in force around Cumbria today with more heavy rain expected to hit the county later this afternoon.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for North West England between 6pm tonight and 6am tomorrow morning.
The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts for the rivers Kent and Bela, affecting the Kendal area.
The River Eden is also on alert, along as are the rivers Brathay, Rothay and Winster and the Upper Derwent from Seathwaite to Derwentwater.
A flood alert is also across Dumfries and Galloway. No major flood risk is currently foreseen for the Scottish Borders.
