January in Carlisle means one thing - the Sand Centre's annual quiz.
It has been run for 20 years by Geoff Haugh, the rest of the year Geoff is a health and wellbeing co-ordinator but for one night only each year he becomes the quizmaster.
Six hundred people take part in the quiz each year.
In the report below Geoff spoke to Samantha Parker about where he gets his ideas from and how he keeps the questions fresh each year.
