The car park at Penrith Hospital in Cumbria has been closed after a serious accident involving a car and a pedestrian.
The incident happened at around 11.25am.
“A section of the car park outside the health centre at Penrith Hospital remains closed following a serious collision this morning between a car and pedestrian.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Cumbria Constabulary’s Headquarters Roads Policing Unit by dialling 101.
“NHS Cumbria will be informing the Health and Safety Executive.”
