Statement from hostage's wife
The wife of a man who was taken hostage by terrorists in an Algerian gas plant has released a statement.
Susan Grisedale, the wife of Tony Grisedale, said:
– Susan Grisedale, wife of Tony GrisedaleI am obviously very relieved that Tony is safe and well. We are anxious to have him back home. I was delighted to hear his voice when I spoke to him for the first time on Friday morning. He’s the sort of person that will take this in his stride and when he comes home this evening he’ll probably carry on as normal.
My thoughts go out to the other families who are still waiting for news.
