Tony Grisedale, a 60-year-old mechanical engineer from Workington, who was rescued from the gas plant in Algeria, has returned home safely.
He spoke exclusively to ITV Border and said that it had "been a long few days" after he "hid for two days" whilst hearing gunshots nearby.
