In 1995 a fire ripped through St Michael's Parish Church in Workington, destroying almost everything inside- including 19 handbells.

18 years later, the handbells have returned to the church after being fully restored.

The 160 year old bells are being used by young bell ringers in the church after they were restored by bell ringer Gareth Evans.
