The 23-year-old man who died in a crash near Lochamaben has been named as Michael Goldie from Lockerbie.
Mr Goldie was driving a white Honda CRX when the incident happened at around 10.15pm last night (30th January).
He died at the scene.
A 21-year-old male passenger was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary after sustaining serious injuries.
