A man has died in a crash on the A709 between Lochmaben and Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway.
The 23-year-old was driving a white Honda CRX when the incident happened at around 10.15pm last night (30th January).
The driver died at the scene and a 21-year-old male passenger was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary after sustaining serious injuries.
His condition is described as serious but stable.
Both men are thought to be local.
