Seven children have been taken to hospital after a mini-bus crash near Carlisle.
The mini-bus was in collision with a car on the A689 between Carlisle and Brampton at Walby.
The road remains closed in both directions.
The driver of the mini-bus has been airlifted to hospital.
It is not thought any of the children are seriously hurt.
