Two people have been killed and several others injured after a multi-vehicle pile-up on the M6 in Cumbria.
The collisions involving four lorries, a van and a car, happened between junction 35 at Carnforth and junction 36 at Kirkby Lonsdale this morning.
The M6 northbound between junctions 35 and 36, and two lanes southbound are currently shut.
Diversions are in place.
