Dozens of young skaters are taking to the ice this weekend in one of the biggest synchronised ice dancing competitions in the world.
The International Synchronised Skating Competition Trophy d'Ecosse takes place today and tomorrow at the Dumfries Ice Bowl.
There are 43 teams taking part from across the UK, Germany and South Africa.
The Solway Sk8ing Club has three teams competing: Solway Stars, Solway Eclipse and, making their debut in the competition, Solway Lightening.
