Snow warning for southern Scotland

A snow warning has been issued by the Met Office for south-west Scotland and the Scottish Borders.

The snowfall is expected to continue from Monday night into Tuesday morning and may last until the afternoon.

Strong to gale forces winds are also expected, which may cause snow drifts, especially over higher ground.

The public are asked to expect travel disruption and possible power supply interruption.
