The appalling weather hasn't put off one very special visitor from visiting the region as the Duchess of Cambridge spent the day at a Scout camp in the Lake District.
Kate is a volunteer in the Scout Association - and she joined other volunteers at Great Tower Scout Camp near Newby Bridge.
They watched Cub Scouts take part in activities including tree climbing - but the Duchess kept her feet firmly on the ground. Tim Backshall was there for the Royal visit.
