A lorry driver has died in an accident at junction 42 on the M6 in Cumbria.
The man involved in the one-vehicle incident was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roundabout at junction 42 is partially closed and diversions are in place:
- Motorists travelling north on the M6 are not able to exit at junction 42 and instead are advised to use junction 43.
- Motorists travelling south on the M6 are advised to use junction 43 or junction 41.
- Motorists travelling north on the A6 are able to travel onto Dalston as traffic will be diverted into Carlisle via Durdar Road.
