The partner of a man stabbed to death outside their house in Carlisle has been speaking about the moment it happened.
Katarzyna Plominski was giving evidence at Carlisle Crown Court, where three people are accused of murdering her partner, 32-year-old Piotr Kulinski.
Ms Plominski said that she heard her partner getting ready for work at about 5.30am on 14th October 2012.
After trying to get back to sleep, she heard a 'horrible noise' outside, and from her bedroom window saw two men attacking Mr Kulinski.
They ran off when she shouted that she 'would phone the police'.
Ms Plominski went outside and saw her partner lying in the road 'not moving' and making a 'gasping noise'.
