Detectives investigating the disappearance of a Carlisle soldier who went missing in Rochester, Kent, are appealing to two BMX riders seen nearby minutes after the teenager was last sighted on CCTV.
Josh Thomas, aged 18, disappeared last week after a night out drinking with friends. He was last seen by a friend outside the City Wall pub in Rochester on Wednesday, April 10.
Police say two males were seen riding on small BMX bikes along Corporation Street, Strood-bound, just minutes after Josh was sighted in that area.
They were then seen riding along the High Street, heading back towards Rochester at just before 2am.
