Full report: Flying Scotsman Rally visits the region

The region played host to a bygone era at the weekend.

More than one hundred vintage cars passed through Cumbria and stopped off at Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries and Galloway on their way to Gleneagles.

All the vehicles were built before 1940 and were part of the 6th Flying Scotsman Vintage Rally, travelling hundreds of miles from London to Scotland.
