A busy tourist route that connects Moffat to the Scottish Borders is set to re-open at 4pm today, after a section of the road collapsed last week.
A large area of road on the A708, near to Grey Mare's Tail, broke off into a stream after a night of heavy rainfall.
The road has been closed since 15th April and motorists have had to use a lengthy diversion along the A72 and A701.
