One of the biggest open arts festivals in Scotland has been has been launched.
The annual Spring Fling event in Dumfries and Galloway brings in around £1 million to the local economy every year.
Almost 100 artsits will be opening their studios to vistors between the 25th and 27th of May.
There will also be a number of extra events this year such as dancing and music.
