Voters across Cumbria have begun voting in the local county council elections.
The polling stations opened at 7am and will remain open until 10pm this evening (2nd May).
All 84 seats are being contested on Cumbria County Council, where the Conservatives and Labour have been sharing power for the last four years.
The result of the vote is expected on Friday afternoon.
