Tributes have been paid to a man that who following a gunshot wound to his leg on a Hawick farm.
Adam Hepburn died in the early hours of Wednesday morning (8th May).
The 22-year-old was a keen horse-rider and followed the annual ride outs in his hometown.
Just one day after his death, close friend Chris Ritson was chosen as this year's Hawick Cornet in the annual Picking Night.
Mr Ritson said:
"He was a great lad, we are absolutely devastated. I just have to get on with it now. It's a shame. Im absolutely gutted".
