Teen seriously injured in Stranraer assault

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after an assault in Stranraer.

The incident took place outside the Ryan Centre in the town at around 5.30pm on Monday (27th May).

The teenager was attacked by another man and is being treated for serious facial injuries at Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
