Full report: teaching union criticises plans for 'super school'

A teaching union is criticising proposals for a new super school in Dumfries. The idea is one of the options being discussed by the local council as it considers how to develop secondary education in the area.

The Education Institute of Scotland says the majority of its members favour investment in the town's four existing High Schools, rather than a new establishment for pupils over fifteen. See Ryan Dollard's report below.
