Landowners claim mineral rights under properties in Carlisle

Hundreds of people in Carlisle have begun receiving letters from landowners claiming mineral rights under their homes. It's all due to a change in law later this year, which means if the landowners don't register the mineral rights, they may lose them.

Doris and Richard Wilson are one of dozens households in the Harraby area of Carlisle to get a letter. They bought their former council house 30 years ago.
